Culbertson Heating and Cooling was established back in 1985. Dan and Bob Culbertson created this business with an idea to focus on the community and provide the best service possible. That idea has been inside this building ever since. Unfortunately, father time caught up to Dan and Bob, instead of closing the doors and calling it a career when they retired, the decision was made to turn the business over to an employee. That employee is now the owner and operator of this family-owned and operated business that continues to thrive. Marlin and Tammy Filer are still running this business the same way Dan and Bob did. They focus on what their clients need and continue to employ excellent staff to help them along the way. Culbertson Heating & Cooling, Inc. is a union business, as well as, union trained.
The General Manager, Tim Sidwell is one example. Tim has over 25 years of experience helping solve HVAC problems for people. Tim has been with Culbertson for over 20 years and is proud to go into a home or business and install new systems for our customers.
Another important member of our team is the Shop Manager, Dustin McKinney. Dustin runs the shop and is in charge of ordering any part that our clients need. Dustin is one of the most respected and valued members of our team. He has been with our company for 27 years and plays a vital role in our bidding process. With this leadership group in place, Culbertson is ready to help you when you need it the most. Summer, Winter, day or night, it does not matter to us because we are here for you when you need us in the Vandalia, Illinois community.
